APC's Project Excellence and over 135 donors appreciate the quality of life and economic opportunities available to those who live and work in Warren County. They recognize that a quality education system is an essential element of this community. Excellent teachers are the key to the vibrancy and vitality of our schools. Their students are better employees, better leaders and better citizens.
Project Excellence, a public teacher recognition program honors excellent performance in the public schools and tangibly rewards those superior educators who impact our community's most valuable resource . . . . . our children . . . . our future.
Two outstanding educators from each public school district in Warren County receives a trophy and a cash award each year at our annual recognition banquet. One educator is recognized for excellence and one teacher is recognized for being innovative. The awards are funded by an endowment fund of over $1,000,000 managed by the Area Progress Council. Project Excellence has awarded over $367,000 to 517 educators since 1988.
